As women, we often find ourselves weighed down by the demands of life, whether it’s balancing family, career, or the pressures of societal expectations. We’re taught to be everything to everyone, but in the process, we can lose sight of the most important thing: our God-given purpose.
I believe that every woman is not only worthy but uniquely designed for greatness. The challenges we face, whether in relationships, career, or personal struggles are not roadblocks but opportunities for growth, transformation, and a deeper connection with God. The key lies in shifting our perspective: instead of seeing our hardships as burdens, we must see them as catalysts for our divine purpose.
The Bible tells us in Romans 8:28 that “all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.” It’s a reminder that, no matter the struggle, God is weaving a beautiful tapestry of our lives, using every thread, both the joyous and the painful, to create something extraordinary.
This is why I believe it’s crucial for women, especially in today’s world, to embrace their worth and power in Christ. Too often, we are conditioned to believe that our value is defined by the approval of others, by our achievements, or by our ability to “do it all.” But our true value lies in knowing that we are His beloved, created with purpose, and equipped with everything we need to fulfill His calling.
I can speak from personal experience when I say that embracing God’s calling has transformed my life. For years, I found myself running on empty, juggling multiple roles and feeling as though I was failing at everything. It wasn’t until I took a step back, slowed down, and truly sought God’s guidance that I understood what He had been preparing me for all along. The vision for SheROSE was birthed out of a season of pain, struggle, and self-doubt. Yet, in that very struggle, God showed me that He had been shaping me for something greater than I could imagine. It was in surrendering my will to His that I began to walk confidently in my purpose, knowing that I am not defined by my circumstances but by His love and calling.
We, as women of faith, have the responsibility to rise above the chaos and take hold of the gifts and talents God has entrusted to us. We must nurture our spiritual growth, set healthy boundaries, and seek God’s guidance at every step. It’s through this process that we can step into our full potential and become the women God has called us to be: empowered, courageous, and filled with His love.
We are called to rise, just as the woman of Proverbs 31, and inspire those around us to do the same. To empower those around us to embrace their God-given identity and step into their calling. We are not meant to walk this journey alone. Together, we find strength in community, in prayer, and in supporting one another.
The time is now for women to claim and walk boldly in their divine purpose. It’s time to stop shrinking back and start stepping forward in faith. When we embrace our identity in Christ, we don’t just change our lives; we change the world around us. And that, dear sister, is the power of a woman who knows her worth.
